The service
DentAssurance provides an online platform through which registered dentists submit dental and maxillofacial images with clinical notes, and qualified radiologists return written interpretation reports.
Accounts
- Dentist accounts are for registered dental practitioners. You must give accurate details and keep your password private.
- We may decline or suspend an account, for example if registration details can't be verified or the service is misused.
Your responsibilities as a dentist
- Obtain your patient's consent before sharing their images and details with us.
- Upload complete images of diagnostic quality, and accurate clinical notes.
- Read each report together with your clinical findings. Clinical decisions remain yours.
- Keep your own copies of reports and images for your records. Scans are removed from DentAssurance after 6 months.
Reports
A report is the radiologist's interpretation of the images provided. Image acquisition is not supervised by the reporting radiologist, and interpretation is limited to the quality of the images received. Usual turnaround is 3 to 24 hours, but this is not guaranteed. Reports may be corrected; each correction is issued as a new version and you are notified.
Acceptable use
Do not upload anything other than patient images and documents for reporting, try to access other users' data, or interfere with the service.

Our privacy policy explains how personal data is handled.
